It is installed in dedicated power supply slots on the left side of the 3500 rack and supports redundant power configurations for enhanced system uptime.
When two power supply modules are installed in the rack, the lower-slot module serves as the primary power supply, while the upper-slot module acts as a backup. If both modules are installed, removing or replacing one does not disrupt the rack’s operation.
